ii Safety Instructions for Display Moni tors 1. The AC plug isola tes this equipment from the A C Power sup ply. 2. Unplug the monitor from the wall outlet before cleaning. D o not use liquid cleaners or a erosol cleaner s. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.

2 9 Easy to Use On Screen Display The On-Screen Display (OSD ) allows you to adjust all sett ings simply with on-screen menus. 9 Power Saving Function The power ma nagement complies with VESA DPMS sta ndard. When the system is idle (off mode), the monitor automati cally cuts its power c onsumption up to 95%.
3 Getting Star ted Installin g the Monitor This mon itor is e quipped wi th an autos ensin g power s upply for voltage range s 100~240V AC , 50~60Hz. To insta ll the monitor : 1. Make sure tha t the system p ower is turned off. 2. Please re fer to the in structi ons below to connect the signal cab le through D -SUB .
4 Connecting throug h D-SUB signal connector 1. Make sure tha t the system power is turned off. 2. Connect the computer end of the D-SUB cable to the 15-pin output connector on the video board of your computer.
5 A djusting the Monitor A Look at the Control Panel Enter Exit 1 2 3 4 5 Adjusting the Mon itor You can a djust the monitor with the On-Scr een Display (O SD) menus. Ther e are 5 keys for user’s contr ol. They include Exit , , , En ter and Pow er Sw itch .
6 Selecting function and making adjustments 1) Contrast hot-k ey mode 1. Press to enter contrast hot-key mode 2. Press or to adjust the setting. 2) Brightness hot-key mode 1. Press to enter brightness hot-key mod e. 2. Press or to adjust the setting.
7 Make adjustments 1. In Main Menu: Pr ess or to locate the item you desire to chang e. 2. Press Enter to go into the Sub Menu..

9 Unbalance : adjus ts the pin cushi on balance if both side s of the dis play are bowed toward the left or righ t. T rapezoid : makes the vertica l edges of the disp lay pa rallel. Parallelogram : aligns the top and bottom edges of the image. To p corner : adjusts the edge curva ture at the top corners of the image.
10 4. Recall geometry preset setting Locate and pres s Ent er to recall the p reset sett ings. The word “Reca ll” will keep blinking on the scr een in the process of r ecall. This p age is also a “status display” that shows current horizontal a nd vert ical frequencies.
11 ) The on-sc reen menu will automatically disappear after 20-second’ s of inactivity. If c hanges have been made, the monitor will automatically sav e them. Timing Se tting By mak ing ad justments of your v ideo ca rd settings, you ca n set the timing and the r efresh rate to your pref erences.
