Four-Channel Digital Video Recorder 1 Chapter 1 — Introduction Features Your color digital video record er (DVR) provides record ing capabilities for 4 camera inputs.
User’s Manual 2 Technical Overview Your DVR can replace both a time-lapse VCR and a multiplexe r in a security installati on. However, it has m any features that m ake it much m ore powerful and easier to use than ev en the most advanced VCR. The DVR converts analog NTSC or PAL video to di gital images and records them on a hard disk drive.

User’s Manual 12 Turning on the Power Connecting the power cord to the DVR turns on the unit. The un it will take appro ximately 60 seconds to initialize. Initial Unit Setup Before using your DVR for th e first time, you will wan t to establish the initial settings.
