Remov e the back cov er of the remote control b y pushing the battery compar tment door in the direct ion of the arrow . 2. Load the batteries making sure that the y are positioned correctly (+ to +, and - to -) .

Connect one end of the supplied RGB cab le to the COMPUTER-IN terminal (1, 2) of the projector . 2. Connect the other end of the RGB cab le to the monitor por t of the computer .

The lamp may dete riorate if the projector is pow ered off and on repeatedly within 30 minu tes after the lamp is lighted. 1. Press the PO WER button o n the control panel or the OFF button on the remote con trol.

EN-37 ENGLISH Image adjustment (continued) BrilliantColor TM Use this setting to make color s with medium brightness, such as yel- low and the skin tone a ppear natural. Press t he W button to d ecrease the value to lessen th e effect. Press the X b utton to increase th e value to heighten the effect.
EN-38 Adv anced features Displaying a user-defined image during startup or mut- ing Y ou can display your desired image as the star tup screen (or splash screen). Using the menu, y ou can also use it as the backg round that is display ed while the video is muted or no signal is input.

EN-40 Lamp replacement This projector is equipped with a lamp to project images. This lamp is a consumable . It may b ur n out or its brightness ma y decrease dur ing use. In such cases, replace the lamp with a ne w one as soon as possi- ble . Be sure to replace the lamp with a new lamp separ ately sold that is exclusiv e to this projector .
EN-41 ENGLISH Lamp replacement (continued) 4. Pull up the handle (g), and t hen pull out the la mp unit (h) b y the handle. 5. Remov e the lamp attachment unit. • Pull the lamp unit out of the projector slo wly . If it is pulled out quickly , the lamp may bre ak, scattering glass fragments.
EN-42 T roub leshooting Bef ore asking f or repair of the project or , check the f ollowing. If the symptom pe rsists, stop using the projector , be sure to u nplug the power plug, and then contact you r dealer . No image appe ar s on the sc reen. Problem Solution P ower can not be turned on.
