4 - 15 Auger Shaf t T o grease a uger sha ft, remove shear bolt nuts a nd shear b olt s. Apply gr ea se at t he gr ease ze rks and the n rotate the a uger shaft. Re place shear bolts per instruct ions in “Shear Bo lts” on page 17 . 4.8 ATT ACHMENT DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT Remove Att achment Drive Belt (Figur es 7 and 8 ) 1.

5 - 17 4.10 SHEAR BOLTS IMPORT ANT : Use only A riens she ar bolts for replacem ent. Use of any other ty pe of shear bolt may result in severe damage t o unit. Occa sionall y a foreign object e ntering the b lower housin g may jam the auger and brea k the she ar bolts ( Figure 1 1 ) that secure the auger to the sha ft.
5 - 18 5.3 RUNNERS Runners sho uld be adjusted as co ndi tio ns requir e ( Figu re 14 ). 1. Position unit on a h ard, flat, smooth l evel surfa ce. 2. Adjus t runners b y inserti ng a spacer of desired thick ness und er center o f scraper blade, lo osen runner hardware, slide runn ers to fl at surface .
