EN-10 Basic connections This projector can be connected with various devices such as a VCR, video camera, videodisc play er, and personal computer that hav e an alog RGB output connectors. Important: • Make sure that the conne cted device is turned off bef o re star ting connection.
EN-11 ENGLISH Pr ojector + Computer For computer with Mini D-SUB Important: • When you use a longer RGB cable instead of the provided cable, the image may not be projected correctly . • Some computers require additional co nnectors or analog RGB output adapters to be connect ed with this projector .
EN-12 Preparation Preparation f or projection 1. Attach the provided power cord to the projector . 2. Plug the power cord in the wall outlet. 3. Remov e the lens cap. Wa r n i ng : • Do not look into the lens directly when the proje ctor is on. • The lens cap is f or protecting th e lens.

EN-14 Basic operation (contin ued) P ower-off Use the f ollowing procedure to tur n off the projector . Do not turn off the projector by unplugging the power cord while the lamp is on. Unplugging while the lamp is on degrades the lamp’ s perf or mance and causes failure in the projector .

EN-20 Adv anced feature Still T o stop the motion in the image temporarily (or to display a still image): Press the STILL button on the remote control. • The image will freeze temporarily . T o resume the motion in the image: Press the STILL button on the remote control again.
EN-21 ENGLISH P assw ord function This projector is equipped with the password function that is designed for pre vention of wrong operation by children and restriction on operation b y ot her than specifi ed users. MENU ACCESS ............ All the buttons e xcept f or the POWER button on the projector are di sabled.
EN-22 Lamp replacement When the lamp no longer functions, replace it with a new one. Caution: • Do not remov e the lamp immediately after using the projec- tor . Y ou ma y get burned because the lamp v er y hot after use. • Before replacing the lamp, press the PO WER button to turn off the lamp and wait f or two minutes f or lamp to cool down.
EN-23 ENGLISH T roubleshooting The f ollowing offers solutions to some of the common prob lems yo u ma y encounter . We suggest that you consult this char t before contacting your dealer . Images aren’t projected on the screen. Problem Cause and solution P ower isn’t turn ed on.
