5 -EN Inserting Dis cs Y ou r playe r acce pts onl y one d isc at a time for play back. Do not attempt to lo ad more than o ne disc. Make sure the label side is facing up when you insert the disc. “ERROR” will be displaye d on your player if yo u insert a disc incorre ctly .

10 -EN Receiving a Multicast Stat ion (HD Radio™ mode only) Mult icastin g is the Ability to broad cast multipl e program streams over a single FM fr equency . This increases the amou nt and diversity of content choices . A maximum o f eight mu lticas t statio n channe ls can be se lect ed on th is unit.
11 -E N • Do not r emove a CD during its eject cycle. Do not load more than one disc at a time. A malfuncti on may r esult from doing either . • The “ ” indic ator lights up when a disc is ins erted.
12 -EN File/Folder Name Search (Concerning MP3/WMA/A AC) Folder and file names may be se arched and dis played durin g playback. 1 During MP3/WMA/AAC playbac k, press / ENTER to activate the sear ch mode. 2 Tu r n t h e Rotary enco der to select Folder Name Search mode or File Name Search mode, and then press / ENTER .

14 -EN Order of fi les Files are p layed bac k in the order that t he writing so ftware wri tes them to the disc. Therefo re, the playba ck order may not be what is expe cted. Verify the w riting order i n the so ftware’ s docume ntation . The playback order of the folde rs and files is as follows.
15 -E N Playback 1 Press iPod/US B to switc h to the USB I POD mode. 2 Press or to select the desired song. Pressing and holdi ng or will fast backward/fast forwar d the cur rent s ong. 3 T o pause playbac k, press / . Pressing / again will resume pl ayback.
16 -EN Quick Search Y o u can search a song from all song s in the iPhone/i Pod without select ing an alb um, artis t, etc. 1 Press and ho ld / ENTER fo r at least 2 seconds to activate the Quick Search mode. 2 Tu r n t h e Rotary enco der to select a desired song.
17 -E N Random Play Shuffle (M. I.X.) 1 Press FUNC ./SE TUP . 2 Tu r n t h e Rotary encoder to select M I X, and press / E NTER . The Shu ffle mode is activat ed. 3 Tu r n t h e Rotary enco der to se lect the M I X (Shuffle) playback mode, and press / ENTER .
18 -EN Controlling USB memor y (Optional) A USB memory device may be con nected to this un it. W ith a USB memory device c onnected to this unit , the audio files will be playable from th is unit . • The controls on this unit for USB memory operation ar e operative only when a USB memory is connecte d.
19 -E N Adjusting the volume wh en receiving a Call Duri ng a call, the voice level is ad justable . This ad justed volume is stored fo r future c alls. Tu r n t h e Rotary enco der t o ad ju st t he v olume. • When adjust ing the call volu me be aware that increasing the volume excessi vely may r esult in feedback.
20 -EN Up to 5,00 0 telephone numbers ar e downloadable to th e BLUETOO TH compa tible u nit from a mobi le phone . Dial a call by selecting a pers on from t he phone book li st. Setting item: PHONE BOOK • If a name cannot be obta ined via the phone book , only the “--------” is di splayed for 2 seconds.
21 -E N T urning Subwo ofer ON/OFF When th e subwoofer is on, you can adjus t the subwoofer output level (refer to page 20 ). For this unit , the followi ng setting can be made only whe n the IMPRINT aud io processor (PXA-H100) is not connected. 1 Press and ho ld AUDIO f or at least 2 seconds to activate the A UDIO selection mode.
22 -EN 3 -3 Tu r n t h e Rotary en coder to select the desired bass center frequency , and then press / EN TER . 60 (Hz) 80 (Hz ) 100 (Hz) 1 20 (Hz) 60 (Hz) Emphasizes the displayed b ass fre quency rang es. 4 Press to return to normal mode. • If no operation is perfor med for 60 seconds , the unit will return to normal mode aut omatically.

26 -EN Changing Lighti ng Color (ILLUMIN A TION) Y o u can change the lighting colo r of the unit's buttons. Dimmer Control (DIMMER) Set the D immer cont rol to AUT O to decre ase the il luminati on brightn ess of the unit when the boat’ s running lights are ON.
27 -E N GAME ALER T : After acce ss to thi s item, operate th e unit as foll ow . Tu r n t h e Rotar y en coder to set GAME ALERT to ON o r OFF , and then press /ENTER . If ON is set, the alert for all stor ed sports teams is set. If OFF is set, no annou ncements will be made.
28 -EN Receiving Channels with t he SA T Radio Receiver (Optional) About SA T R adio Satelli te Radio* is the next generat ion of audio e ntertainme nt, with over 100 digita l audio channe ls. For a small monthly fee, subscrib ers can hear crys tal-c lear music, spor ts, ne ws and ta lk, coas t-to -coa st via sate llite .

30 -EN Act ivating the st ored A lert (S IRIU S onl y) Make sure that GAME ALER T (Refer to “Setti ng the Fa vorite Spor ts T eam announcement (SPO R TS)” on page 26 )/S-SEEK ALER T (Refer to “Set ting t he Sirius Seek (S -SEEK) Alert ” on page 27 ) is set to ON.
31 -E N Receiving Weather or T raffic Information from SA T Radio 1 Select the S A T Radio Channel for yo ur local traffi c/ weather information. 2 Press and ho ld / for at least 2 seconds in the SA T mode. The r eceived weath er or traf fic chan nel is stor ed.
32 -EN • When the “Sc r oll Setti ng (TE XT SCR OLL)” (pag e 26 ) is se t to “A UTO”, the channel name and song tit le scrolls continuously . When the Scroll Setting is set to “MANUAL”, the song title sc r olls only once. • Depending on the model, the display ma y differ from the one sh own above.
33 -E N Adjusting Sound Setting in M anual Mode Y o u can change t hese sound settings to creat e your own pr eference when th e MultE Q mode is set to M ultEQ o ff (Manu al Mode). Howe ver , subwoofer in the subwoofer system can be set to ON/OF F regardless of whether the MultEQ setting is ON or OFF.
34 -EN The se tting of Parame tric EQ/G raphic EQ Adjustment , Time Correcti on and X-Ov er can be adjusted in this mode. Adjusting the P arametric Equalizer Curve Y ou can mo dify the Equa lizer se ttings to cr eate a re sponse curve mor e appeali ng to your personal ta ste.

36 -EN When th e subwoofer is on, you can adjus t the subwoofer output level (refer to page 20 ). OFF O N (Initial settin g) When the subwoofer is on, yo u can select either SYS 1 or SYS 2 for the desired subw oofer eff ect.

38 -EN About the Crossover Crossover (X-O VE R): This uni t is equippe d with an ac tiv e cros sover . The crossover lim its the frequenc ies delivered to the ou tputs. Eac h channel is co ntrolled independe ntly . Thus, each speaker pa ir can b e driven by the freque ncies for which they have been optim ally designe d.
39 -E N Selecting a Disc (Changer) (Optional) An optiona l 6-dis c or 12-disc CD Change r may be connected to this un it if it is A i-NET co mpat ible. With a CD Ch anger conn ected to the Ai-NET i nput of th is uni t, the C D Changer will b e control lable fro m this unit.
40 -EN In Case of Difficulty If you encounte r a problem, please tur n the power of f, then on again. If the un it is still no t functionin g norma lly , please review the it ems in th e following check list. This gui de will help you isol ate the problem if the unit is a t fault.
