DIN-Rail Mounting The DIN-Rail attachment plates are per m anently fixed to the back panel of the EDS-728/828. Do not attempt to rem ove the attachment plates, since doing so could damage the product .
STEP 2 : Mounting the EDS-728/828 on the wall requir es 4 screws to ensure that the switch does not come loose from the wall. Use the switch, with wall mounting plates attached, as a guide to mark the correct locations of the 4 screws. The heads of the screws should be less than 6.
Wiring Requirements WARNING Saf ety Fi rst! Be sure to disconnect the power cord before installing and/or wiring your M oxa EDS-728/828. Calculate the maximum possible current in each power wire and common wire. Observe all electrical codes dictating the maximum current allowable for each wire size.

The two wires attached to the Fault contacts form an open circuit when a user-configured event is triggered.
Communication Connections The pinout and cable wiring diagrams in this section show how the ports on the EDS-728/828 connect to other devices: Pinouts are diagrams that indicate the ty pe of signal passing through each of the port’s pins.
