The best w a y to check what resources are in use and which ones are av ailab le, run WINMSD Utility .

Click on the Next button on the Add Hardware Wizard screen. The wizard will pause a few seconds trying to detect the new device.

If this is the case, try issuing the software’s connection command. If more than one communications program is open, they may conflict with each other.

Try increasing the length of time in minutes the modem will wait before disconnecting when no data is sent or received.
