z If you safely remove the player from co mputer while keeping the USB cable connec ted or use power adapter to charge, i t displays the following picture while the battery is charging.
Low battery If there is not enough energy in battery , the syst em will show you the follow ing warning. If you still use the player in low batte ry state, the player will turn of f automatically with power off message. Cautions: 1. Make sure that the battery is fully charged before first use.
MAIN MENU The nine functions are showed in main menu. Press or to move in between, to confirm selection. T o return to main men u, long press ( When you are in Recording or Setting mode, press for a short time to return to main menu).
LISTENING TO MUSIC Display in Play Mode Repeat mode Playback Press for a long time, select music mode, then press . Pause Press to pause the playback. Pre ss again to restart the playback.
V olume Adju stment While a music file is in play , press / to adjust volume. Moving Previous/ Next File While a music file is in play , press / for a short time if you want to play previous/next music file. Fast Forward/Fast Rewind While a music file is in play , press / for a long time to move fast forward/rewind within the track.
y Choose an MP3 or WMA file, fo r example “lovemusic.mp3”. y Download a lyrics file from internet. The ly rics file must be with the file name ex tension L RC, example “lovemusic-2007.lrc”. y Rename the lyrics file, example “lovemusic .lrc”.
WATCHING VIDEO Convert Video File This player only support A VI vi deo format. Other formats such as RM/ VOB/ DA T/ RMVB/ MPG/ MPEG/ MP4/ ASF/ WMV/ MKV can be played after being converted to A VI video form at. (A VI converter software is in the bundled CD) Install the A VI converter 1.

Conversion: This player can co nvert rm, rmvb, mpg, mpeg, mp4, asf, wmv , mkv , dat, and vob into AVI vi deo format via t he included video convert software.
2. Select and se t your desired parame ters, click “Save”. After fini shing your sele ctions, click “Clo se” to exit th is window and click “Convert Now”. The player will now begin to conv ert your files to AVI file fo rmat. 3. After finish ing the conver sion, click “Cl os e” to exit.
Play Video Press for a long time, select video mode, then press to ent er the folder navigation. Y ou can only choose the video files to play in video mode. Press / to select the listed folders or files, press to confirm. Pause Press to pause the playback.
RADIO FUNCT ION Enter Radio Press for a long time, select radio mode, then press . Submenu Press to enter submenu. There are five settings in the submenu: manual, preset, save, delete, auto. Press / to select, to confirm selection. z Manual: T o search channel manually .
/ to move between “Y es” and “No”, to confirm selection. After the frequency has been saved, press to enter submenu again, choose under whic h mode you would like to l isten to FM radio, manual or preset. z Delete: T o delete a particular saved channel.
PHOTO Viewing Image Press for a long time, select photo mode, then press to enter the folder navigation. Y ou can only choose photo files to play in photo mode. Press / to select the listed folders or files, press to confirm. Move Previous/Next Fi le During picture seeing, press / to see the previous/next picture .
Press to start/pause text slide show . Bookmark Bookmark helps you to mark your place in the text. Save bookmark While reading text, long press to ma to save bookmark. A window pops out at the left corner . Press rk current page. The tag changes from “Empty” to “xx% book name.
RECORD Press for a long time, select record mode, then press to confirm. Press to start/pause recording in the same file. Press and hold to save file and make the eady to record anothe ress player r r file.
SD/MMC CARD After connecting the player to the computer , you will find two “R emovable Devices”. One is the built-in memory of the PMP and t he other is the external SD / MMC card. Inserting Memory Card : Insert the SD / MMC S D card with its top side up into the PMP .
A. Connect player to PC. B. Choose the desired music wi th DRM. C. Right-click and select “Add to Sync lis t”. D. In the resulting dialog, selec t “Sync”. E. In the “Sync” window, select the desired music with DRM as step B and choose “Removable Disk”.

Setting Auto Slide Show z Setting the auto slide show time alternation for text reading and photo seeing. Both have five opt ions to choose from, from 1 second to 5 seconds.
1. The first time you upgrade the player, inser t the disk into the CD-ROM drive of your computer. Open the “Customer upgrade tooling 2.8.1.6.rar ” program, select the required language and enter the installation Inter face.

Upgrading When the instal lation of programs required by the computer is complete, you can begin the upgrade. 1. Select and run the upgrading tool (shown below), then select and open the upgrad ing software.
2. Hold the button and connect the play er to the PC , Click “Open” to choose the latest fi rmware you want to update ( shown as below). Note: you ca n release button after conne cting to the PC.
3. Click “Updat e”, and the device will check for the lat est software and update it auto matically. Update informa tion appears in the “Update Info” area until it is succes sfully updated . When the upda te is finished, this area will displa y “Successful” (shown on as below).
TROUBLESHOOTIN G If the player cannot be played normally, please check the following: Problem Solution Nothing shows on the screen Check whether the PMP is in the ON state. The player is frozen Restart the PMP. If the problem persists, reset the PMP. It cannot be played Check whether the PMP is in the ON state.
