4 EN Extension cables should be of a watertight constr uction and comply with the below-men- tioned requirements for length and cable dimensions. 1.0 mm² max. 12.5 m 1.5 mm² max. 20 m 2.5 mm² max. 30 m Cable connections should be kept dry and off the ground.
5 EN 3 Bef ore y ou star t using y our pressure washer 3.1 Mounting of trolle y handle (models with trolley handle) 1. Remove the label on top of machine. 2. Push down the trolley handle (12) into the machine. Secure the handle by tightening the 2 screws.
6 EN 4 Operating y our pressure washer 4.1 Connection of high pressure hose (models without hose reel) 1. Mount the high pressure hose on the outlet (3). 4.2 Mounting of spray lance and Click & Clean nozzles 1. Push the spray lance (6) into the spra y gun (7) and screw it on.
7 EN 4.3 W ater connection 4.4 Start and stop of the ma- chine (when connected to a water supply) The spra y lance is affected by a thrust during operation - therefore alw ays hold it fi rmly with both hands. IMPORT ANT : P oint the nozzle at the ground.
8 EN 4.5 Start the machine (when connected to open con- tainers (suction mode)) The washer can take in w ater from a rain water tank as an example . The hose f or the wa- ter supply must not be too long, approx. 5 m. Make sure that the water tank is not placed on a lower le vel than the machine.
9 EN 5 Fields of application and w orking methods 5.1 General Effi cient high presure cleaning is achie ved by f ollowing a f ew guide- lines, combined with your o wn personal experience of specifi c cleaning tasks. Accessories and detergents, when correctly cho- sen, can increase the effi ciency of y our pressure washer .
10 EN 5.2 T ypical fi elds of application Below you will fi nd a description of a lot of cleaning tasks which can be solved by a pressure w asher from Nilfi sk-AL T O in association with accessories and detergents.
11 EN 6 After using y our pressure washer 6.2 Winding up of electric cable and high pressure hose T o av oid accidents, the electric cable and the high pressure hose should alwa ys be winded carefully up. 1. Wind up the electric cable on the appropriate hooks.
12 EN W ARNING! Alwa ys disconnect the electrical plug from the sock et pr ior to maintenance or cleaning. T o ensure a long and problem free working life , please take the follo wing advice: Wash out water hose , high pressure hose, spra y lance and accessories before mounting.
13 EN 7.1 Cleaning of water inlet fi lter Clean the water inlet fi lter regularly once a month or more frequently according to use. Carefully loosen the fi lter with a pair of pliers and clean it.
