ASUS All-in-One PC ET223 and E T203 32 Windows ® UI Windows® 8.1 c omes with a tile-based user inter face (UI) which allows you to organize and easily ac cess Window s® apps from the Start screen. It also includes the following features tha t you can use while working on your ASUS All-in-One PC.
ASUS All-in-One PC ET223 and E T203 33 Hotspots Onscreen hotspots allow you t o launch programs and access the settings of your ASUS All-in-One PC. The functions in these hotspots can be activated using your mouse.
ASUS All-in-One PC ET223 and E T203 34 Hotspot Action upper left corner Hover your mouse point er on the upper left corner then tap/click on the recent app ’ s thumbnail to revert back to that running app. If you launched more than one app , slide down to show all running apps.

In normal circumstances, the default BIOS settings apply to most conditions to ensure optimal performance.

ASUS All-in-One PC ET223 and E T203 61 Chapter 5: Upgrading y our ASUS All-in- One PC Installing a Random-access Memory module Upgrade the memory capacity of your ASUS All-in-One PC by installing a RAM (random-access memory module) in the memor y module compartment.
ASUS All-in-One PC ET223 and E T203 62 T o install a RAM module: 1. Loosen the screw of the ASUS All-in-One PC’ s compar tment cover . 2. Pull out the compartment cover and r emove it completely fr om your ASUS All-in-One PC. Set aside. 3. Remove the metal cover (on selected models) then set aside.
