3 INTRODUCTION Thank you fo r purc hasing the OMRON ® HBF-510 Full Body Sen sor Body Comp osition Mon itor and Scal e. The Full Bod y Sensor Body Composition Monitor and Scale i s easy to use.

Replace old batteries with new ones immed iately . Replace all four batteries at the same time. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for three months or more.

BMI d oes not measure b ody fat d irectly , but resear ch has sho wn that BMI correla tes to di rect mea sures of bo dy fat.

15 KNOW Y OUR UNIT USING THE DISPLAY UNIT 1. Remove the Display Unit fr om the Display Unit Holder on the monit or . 2. T o store the cord into the Display Unit Holder , make sure the cord is coil ed evenly , and does no t stick out of the Display Unit Holder .
16 BATTERY INST ALLATION 1. Locate the Battery Cover on the back of the unit. 1) Pr ess th e tab on th e battery cover in the direc tion o f the arro w to rel ease th e cove r as illus trated .
17 BATTERY INST ALLATION BATTERY REPLACEMENT Personal profile s will not be deleted d uring b attery repl acement. When the Low Bat tery Ind icato r appears on the dis play scre en, remov e all four batter ies. Replace wi th four ne w batteri es at the same time.
18 SETTING PERSONAL DAT A T o measure Body Composi tion, your personal data must b e set. Y our per sonal dat a include s your age, gender a nd height . The F ull Body Se nsor Body Composition Monitor a nd Scal e provid es two options to enter yo ur personal d ata.
