- 12 - Charging the battery Important: ≥ Do not use the AC cable with any other equi pment as it is desig ned only f or this u nit. Also, do not use the AC c able from other equi pmen t with th is un it. ≥ It is re comme nded to ch arge t he batte ry in a temper ature b etwee n 10 o C and 30 o C (50 o F and 86 o F).

- 15 - Connecting to the AC outlet The unit is in the standby condition when the AC adapto r is con nected. The primary circuit is always “live” as lon g as the A C adaptor is conne cted to an electrica l outl et. Important: ≥ Use th e su pplied AC ad aptor.
- 16 - The unit can record motion picture s or still pictures t o an SD card. Cards that you can use w ith this unit Use SD ca rds conf orming to Cl ass 4 or higher of t he SD Speed Cla s s Rating* for motion pictur e rec ording . * SD Speed Class Ratin g is the speed standard regarding continuo us writing.
- 17 - Inserting/removing an SD c ard Caut ion: Check that th e acc ess lamp has gone of f. 1 Open the SD card slot cover and insert (remove) the SD card into (from) the ca rd slot B . ≥ One SD card can be inserted into each of the card slot 1 and th e card slot 2.
