9 (ENG ) VQT 2M46 Confirm that the re are no foreign obj ects on inner side of the card/ba ttery door or terminal cove r ( B rubb er seal and C plac e where rubber seal m eets).
VQT 2M46 (ENG ) 10 • Wipe it of f with a dry sof t cloth if the re is any liquid . • The integr ity of the rubbe r seals may de c rease af ter about 1 year , with use and age. T o avoid pe rmanently damaging th e camera t he seals should be replaced once ea c h yea r.
11 (ENG ) VQT 2M46 1 :With the [LOCK] switch released, c lose the card/ battery door and terminal cover by pus hing until you hear a cli ck. • T o prevent wat er seeping into the camera , be careful not to trap f oreign object s such as liquids, sand, hair or du st etc.

15 (ENG ) VQT 2M46 ∫ This unit incorp orates drain desig n This unit incorporates dr ain design, draining water in gaps in the c amera [OFF /ON] button and zoom lever etc. As a result of this, bubbles may come out when you soak the unit in water , but it is not a malfunction.

VQT 2M46 (ENG ) 20 ∫ About the [CHARGE] indicator • When the [ CHARGE] indicat or flashes – The battery temperatur e is too high or to o low. It is recommend ed to charge the ba tter y aga in in an ambi ent temp erature of between 10 ºC to 35 ºC.
21 (ENG ) VQT 2M46 About the Built-in Memo ry/the Card • Memory size: Approx. 40 MB • The built-i n memory can be used as a tempor ary storage dev ice when the car d being used beco mes full. • The access time for th e built-in memory may be longe r than the access ti me for a card.

VQT 2M46 (ENG ) 24 Setting the Menu This section desc ribes how to s elect the Normal P icture Mode settings, and the same setting can be used for the [PLA YB ACK] menu and [SETUP] menu as well. Example: S etting [AF M ODE] from [ Ø ] to [ š ] in the Normal P icture Mode Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.
