Getting started RQT6220 4 Disc information ∫ Discs that can be played ∫ Discs that cannot be played PAL discs (the audio on DVD-Audio can be played), DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, CD-ROM, CDV, CD-G, i RW, DVD-RW, CVD, SVCD, SACD, Divx Video Discs and Photo CD.

Turn the unit off before changing the setup. Standing Lying down Attach the feet to the base of the unit (left side when standing).

RQT6220 20 Radio operations 2 Press [ 6 ] or [ 5 ] to select the fre- quency of the required station. Press and hold [ 6 ] or [ 5 ] until the frequency starts scroll- ing to start automatic tuning. Tuning stops when a station is found. 3 Adjust the volume.
21 RQT6220 Radio operations Manual presetting Remote control only Preset the stations one at a time. 1 Tune to the station ( ➡ page 20). 2 Press [PROGRAM]. 3 Press the numbered buttons to select a channel. Alternatively, press [ : : : : : , X X X X X ] or [ 9 9 9 9 9 , W W W W W ] then press [PRO- GRAM].
RQT6220 22 Sound quality/sound field operations Sound field Note ≥ Dolby Pro Logic and Super Surround cannot be used if headphones are connected. ≥ You may experience a reduction in sound quality when these sound field systems are used with some sources.

RQT6220 26 Other functions Changing settings This chart shows the settings for this unit. Change the settings to suit your preferences and to suit the unit to the environment in which it is being used. These settings are retained in memory until they are changed, even if the unit is turned off.

RQT6220 30 Reference No sound. Distorted sound. Humming heard during play. No sound from the subwoofer. ≥ Check the connections. 7 8 M ≥ Turn the volume up. ≥ Turn muting off. I ≥ Switch off the unit, determine and correct the cause, then switch the unit on.
