3 RQTX1260 ENGLISH For SC-HC55 only The model number and serial number of this product can be found on eit her the back or the bottom of the unit. Please note them in the space provided below and keep for future reference.
4 RQTX1260 Unit and media care Pull out the AC power plug from the outlet be fore maintenance. ∫ Clean this unit with a sof t, dry cloth ≥ When dirt is heavy , wring the cl oth moistened in water tightly to wipe the dirt, and then wipe it with a dried cloth.
5 RQTX1260 ENGLISH Connections 1 Connect the FM indoor antenna. ≥ T ape the antenna to a w all or column, in a position with the least amount of interference. 2 Connect the AM loop antenn a. ≥ Keep the loop antenna cord away from other wires and cords.

9 RQTX1260 ENGLISH Opening/Closing the sliding door Prep aration Press [ Í ] to turn the unit on. For disc operations: A While the sliding door is closed, press [CD < ] to open the sliding door . For iPod/iPhone operations: B While the sliding door is closed, press [iPod < ] to open the sliding door .
10 RQTX1260 1 Press [ Í ] to turn the un it on. 2 Insert the disc to be played ( > 9). 3 Press [CD]. 4 Press [ 1 / ; ] to st art play . After performing steps 1-3 in “Basic play” 1 Press [PLAY MENU] repeatedly to select “REPEAT”. 2 Press [ 2 , 1 ] to select “ON REPEAT” and press [OK].
11 RQTX1260 ENGLISH Sound adjustment The following sound effects can be added to the audio output. ≥ Y ou may experience a reduction in sound quality when these effects are used with some sources. If this occurs, turn the sound effects off. Radio operations 1 Press [EXT-IN, RADIO] repeatedly to select “FM” or “AM”.
12 RQTX1260 Ti m e r This is a 12-hour clock. 1 Press [CLOCK/TIMER] to select “CLOCK”. 2 Within 10 seconds, press [ 3 , 4 ] to set th e time. 3 Press [OK]. ≥ T o display th e clock, press [CLOCK/TIMER]. ≥ Reset the clock regularly to maintain accuracy .
13 RQTX1260 ENGLISH ∫ Comp atible iPod/iPhone (as of January 201 1) ≥ Update your iPod/iPhone with the latest software before using this unit. ≥ Compatibility depends on the software version of your iPod/iPhone. ≥ Depending on the model, it may be necessary to remove the iPod/iPhone and select the album, artist, etc.
14 RQTX1260 Prep aration Pair the Bluetooth ® device with this unit to create an audio connection. 1 Press [ , iPod] repeatedly to select “BLUETOOTH”.
