5 Introduction Welcome to the Pandigit al Multimedia Digital Photo Frame (DPF). Now you can display your digital photos di re ctly fro m your me mory car d, no computer is necessary.
6 Overview of th e DPF (The memory card slots, ports, and jacks in your DPF may be different than those pictured here.) Remote Control You can acce ss al l of the D PF’s fe atur es, and perfo rm all of the function s by using the remote c ontrol.
7 Overview of Remote Control Store Remote Control You can av oid misplacing the r emote control by safely storing it on the ba ck o f the DPF when not in use.
8 Replace the Remote Control Battery 1. Hold the remote con trol wi th the buttons facing down. 2. Push and hold the small release tab while pulling the battery tray out. 3. Replace the “CR202 5” Lithium battery on the tray with the positive (+) side facing up.
9 Getting Started 1. Plug the AC Power Adapter into the DPF’s DC power jack and an electrical wall outlet. 2. Slide the power bu tton on the le ft side of the DPF up to the ON position. 3. If prompted, select the desired language for the us er interface display (varies by model) .
10 PHOTOS Display your photo files (.JPG or .JPEG) i ndividuall y or as slideshows. PH OTOS - Manage : set viewing preferences, assi gn ph otos to c at egor y fo lders, import and delete photo files (page 12) MUSIC Play your MP3 music fil es.

12 You will also use this function to view the contents of the Slideshow Folders after you assign phot os to these folders (page 17) . 1. On the HOME screen, press MENU to di splay the Setup Menu . 2. Select Select Media Source , and then select the desired media source (s ou rc es n ot pres ent wi l l no t b e avai la bl e) .
13 2. Use t o scroll through indi vidual photos, or us e the Page Up/Page Down arrows to scroll full pages. 3. To view an individual photo full screen, press ENTER on the highlighted photo. 4. While th e photo is dis played, you can use to view the next/previous photos.
14 Adjust Screen Colors You can ad just the four LC D color le vels for opti mal imag e viewing . 1. On the HOME screen, press MENU to di splay the Setup Menu . 2. Select Adjust Screen Colors . 3. Use to scroll through the L CD options, and use to adjust the setting until the desired view is achiev ed.

16 3. Use to scroll throu gh t he photos , and then press ‘ + ’ to select the desire d photos to import (‘ - ‘ will dese lect) . 4. Press MEN U , and then se l ect Import Selected Photos .
17 Slideshow of Photos in Internal Memory You can play a slideshow of the pho tos stored i n the DPF’s intern al memory by simply poweri ng on the DPF (with no exter n al m edia source or wireless Wi-Fi adapter inserted * ) and then wait for the slideshow to automaticall y begin.
18 Assign P hotos to Slid esh ow Fold er 1. On the HOME screen, select the PHOTOS - Manage button. 2. On the Photo Thumbnails screen, use to sc roll through your photo s. 3. To assign an individual photo: With the des ired photo displayed, press MENU .
19 Slideshow Background Music To play bac kground music during a slideshow, simply copy at least one music MP3 file onto the same media source as your photos.

22 Import Music Files into Internal Memory You can impo rt you r mus ic file s from externa l media s ources (i .e., memory card, USB flash dr ive) into t he DPF’s inter nal mem ory. The number of music files you can im port depends on file size and available memory.
23 VIDEOS The DPF supports motion JP EG AVI vi d eo files. If your movie file is not in AVI format, you may have to convert the file by using a software video converter which i s easily found for purchas e on the Internet.
24 Import Video Files into Internal Memory You can import you r v ideo file s from external media sources (i.e., memory card, USB flash dr ive) into t he DPF’s inter nal mem ory. The number of videos you can import de pends on file si ze and available memor y.
25 TIP : If you se lect Yes by mistake, press EXIT to cancel the delete operation. Vi deo files already de leted will not be automaticall y restored. CALENDAR/CLOCK Your DPF can b e used a s a perso nal desk cal endar with a real-tim e clock and al arm, and also dis plays a continuous slides how of photos on th e s el ecte d medi a so urce.
26 Set Sc hedule You can schedule the DPF to auto ma tical ly go in to a “st and-b y” mode and resume opera tion accor din g to your weekly schedul e.
27 CAUTION : Af ter you selec t the Run Schedule fu nction, any us er intervention will ca ncel the activation (i.e ., pr ess ing remote or co ntrol bu tton, powering off) and the schedule will no t take effec t unt il you se lect th is func t ion aga in to re-act ivate.
28 Set Alarm You ca n use y our DP F as an al arm clock when desir ed . Y ou ca n set the frequency of th e alarm, and s et th e alert to sound the built- in tone or play your music file. 1. On the CALENDAR/CLOC K scre en , pr ess MENU . 2. Select Set Alarm , and then select the options and use to change the field value s.

30 Assign Recipes to ‘My Favorite Recipes’ You can assign recipes from a main Cookbook into six food group categor ies f or quick and e asy re trie val: Hors d’oeuvres, Soups, Salads, Entrées, Desserts and Others . (The food gr oup category names are no t changeable) .
31 Copy or Reassign Recipes f r om one Category to Another After you have as signed recipes in to food group categories, y ou can reassign (move) or copy (duplicate) them from one c ategory into another when desired. 1. On the RECIPES screen, sele ct My Favorite Recipes .
32 2. Select the desired food gro up category from which you will unassign re cipes. 3. On the Food Group Thumbnails s creen, us e to scroll through the reci pes, and then press ‘ + ’ to select recipes you want to unassi gn. 4. Press MEN U , and then se l e c t Unassign .

36 Windows Live FrameIt You can wi relessly co nnect wit h Wi ndows FrameIt, an online photo shari ng and s tream ing liv e RSS data f eeds websi te f or vi ewin g liv e News, Weather, Traffi c, Sports , and more. Connect with FrameIt 1. On the HOME screen, select Wi-Fi .
37 3. Select Get Claim Token 1 . A new Claim Token will be displayed, which you will need in the next step. 4. On your PC : Go to http://frameit.live. com/device/claim. aspx to enter the Cla im Token , and then clic k Continue . 5. On the DPF: On the FrameIt scr een, be sure the Status changed from Registration Required to Registered .

39 Establish Accounts with Photo Sharin g Websites The online photo sharing websites that the DPF can access vary depending on the DPF models, and could change without notice. Follow these steps to deter m ine which sites are available with your DPF: 1.

42 DPF to PC – USB Connection You can connect the DPF to a Window s PC or Macintosh comp uter via the USB cable (included) to copy files between the computer and the DPF’s inte rnal me mor y . If you have memory cards inserted in the DPF, y o u c an al s o copy between the PC, internal me mory, and memory cards.

45 USB Flash Drive to DPF Connection The DPF recognizes a USB Flash Dr ive the same wa y it recognize s external memory cards. When you insert the flash drive, the DPF automatically recognizes photo, musi c, and video file s sto red on it.
46 Set Sleep Mode The DPF will stay on until you power it off, however, to save power you can set it to a utomat icall y go into a sleep m ode when left idle for a specifi c amount of time. 1. On the HOME screen, press MENU to di splay the Setup Menu .
47 Frequently Asked Questions Q: Ho w do I s et up my DPF? A: It is very simple to get your Di gita l Photo Frame set up. Just plug the power adapter into the D PF and into a standard wa ll outlet, and then power it on. A slideshow will begin displaying the images pre- loaded in the internal memory.
