3 Do not install the product in a position w here it will interfere w ith the operation of an automoti ve air bag. The air bag may fail to operate properly or the product could become dislodged by airbag operation, causing an accident and/or injury . Do not expose the pro duct to excessi ve heat.

5 Caution Notes on discs: Do not play discs that are damaged or warped, including discs with cracks, scratches or part s missing; discs with burrs; poor quality discs. Route all cords so tha t they do not interfere w ith driving or w ith entering or exiting the car .
6 Preservation and Cleaning Warning Do not use any volatile agents such as gasoline or p aint thinners to clean the product. Never use any volatile materials to clean the product, because they may damage the surface of the player . Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.

14 Revolving S teps The revolving LCD screen is one of the outstanding features about this product. We’d like to suggest you to take the following steps for proper operation. A 1. Open the screen cover to position (A) as shown in the left figure at which the screen is vertical to the operation panel.
15 1. PWR button Press to access standby mode or playback mode. 2. INFO button Press to display the detailed information of the disc during play ing. Press this button again to exit from the information display . 3. TITLE button Press to display title menu if it exists in the disc.
16 10. SUBT button Press to select different subtitle languages if there are multiple subtitle languages existing in the disc. 11. ANGLE button Press to access various camera angles play back if the DVD disc cont ains multiple camera angles. 12. A-B Repeat button Press to play a certain selected segment repeatedly .
17 Installation S teps Follow the steps below to install the battery . S tep1: Pull the battery holder out from the remote control in the direction of the arrow . S tep 2: Load a new battery properly with the (+) side up. S tep3: Insert the battery holder back into the remote control.
18 z Always ensure that the DVD player , TV and any other electrical equipment to be connected with are switched off and unplugged from the power supply .
19 Connecting to External A V Source The player supports an A V signal input function. Use the audio/ video cable to connect the unit to an external A V signal source such as a DVD, VCR etc. After connecting, switch the DVD/A V IN to A V IN. NOTE: Noise may occur in speakers when ther e is an external audi o signal input while playing a DVD disc.
20 Using the AC Adapter The player is supplied with an AC adapter for powering the u nit and charging the battery . Note: T urn player's power off before unplug ging. Note: In the case of using the adapter, the LCD screen will be lighter than with the rechargeable battery.
21 About Rechargeable Ba ttery Pack Your portable DVD player comes with a lithium ion rechar geable battery that attaches to the rear of the DVD player. Char ge the battery fully before initial use. Charging time is normally about 5 hours. A fully charged battery delivers about 3 hours of use, but pla ying time varies from disc to disc.
22 Attaching the Battery Pack Refer to the following steps for attaching the Battery Pack: 1. Make sure the player is off and the AC or car adapter is disconnected. 2. Place the DVD player on a soft and smooth surface with the bo ttom of the unit facing up.
23 Detaching the Battery Pack If the DVD Player is not going to be used for long periods of time, the battery pack should first be fully charged and then detached. When t he DVD Player is turned OFF, the DVD Player is still consuming some power in STANDBY mode.

26 DVD Playback Press ENTER button to start pl aying, or (Direction bu ttons) or 0-9 buttons to select a T itle and Chapter directly . Pla y Press ENT button to start play ing. Pause Press PA U S E button to pause during playback, then pres s PLA Y button to resume normal play back.

30 CD Playback When a CD disc is loaded, the player will play it automatically b y the default sequence of the disc. Y ou can use , or number buttons to select a certain track to play . Playback Operation Pause During p la y back, press P AUSE bu tton to pause the playback, then press PLA Y button to re sume playback.

32 Picture CD Playback Pre-operation Note: Many discs have other items besides pictures. Playback Operation 1. Load a Pictur e CD in the disc tray . The play er will search fo r the disc automatically . 2.The screen display s the root folder with sev eral subdirectories/subfold ers.

35 Language Setup Y ou can change t he default sett ings of this unit to cust omize its performance to your own preference. Note: Set up the system w hile play is stopped or there is no di sk in the player . T o set up your system: 1.Press the SE TUP button.
36 System Setup 2. AUDIO This item is used to set the au dio output language. Press or button to high li ght this item. Press to enter the setup of this item. There are several languages for y ou to choose from, English is the default. Press or button to choose the preferred Language.
37 Preferences 2 . ANGLE MARK If the scene w as shot from multiple angles, y ou can change the ca mera angle of the scene y ou are watching. Not all DVD discs hav e this feature. Press or button to highligh t this item. Press button to e nter the setu p of this item.
38 3. RESUME This item is used to set last memory state. This allows you to continue play from where a disc was stopped, even if the power is turned of f or the disc tray cov er is accidentally opened. For this function to work, the disc mu st remain in the player .
39 Dolby Digital Dolby Digit al is a technology developed by Dolby Laboratories. Audio tracks encoded in Dolby Digit al can reproduce from o ne to 5.1 discrete chan nels of excellent q uality audio.
40 If you suspe ct there is somet hing wrong with the DVD player , immediately turn the power of f. Disconne ct the power c onnecto r and check t hat there is no smoke or exce ssive he at coming from the unit. Never open or try to rep air the unit yourse lf.
41 Other possibilities: S tatic or other external interferenc e may cause the play er function a bnormally . In order to recover no rmal status, u nplug the power supply cord and then pl ug it into the ou tlet again to reset the play er. If the problems still ex ist consult your serv ice center or qualified technician.
