6 Preservation and Cleaning Warning Do not use any volatile age nts such as gasoline or paint thinners to clean the product. Never use an y volatile materials to clean the product, because they may damage the surface of the player . Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.

14 Revolving S teps The revolving LCD screen is one of the outstanding features about this product. We’d like to suggest you to take the following steps for proper operation. A 1. Open the screen cover to position (A) as shown in the left figure at which the screen is vertical to the operation panel.
15 1. PWR button Press to access standby mode or playback mode. 2. INFO button Press to display the detailed information of the disc during play ing. Press this button again to exit from the information display . 3. TITLE button Press to display title menu if it exists in the disc.
16 10. SUBT button Press to select different subtitle languages if there are multiple subtitle languages existing in the disc. 11. ANGLE button Press to access various camera angles play back if the DVD disc cont ains multiple camera angles. 12. A-B Repeat button Press to play a certain selected segment repeatedly .
17 Installation S teps Follow the steps below to install the battery . S tep1: Pull the battery holder out from the remote control in the direction of the arrow . S tep 2: Load a new battery properly with the (+) side up. S tep3: Insert the battery holder back into the remote control.
18 z Always ensure that the DVD player , TV and any other electrical equipment to be connected with are switched off and unplugged from the power supply .
19 Connecting to External A V Source The player supports an A V signal input function. Use the audio/ video cable to connect the unit to an external A V signal source such as a DVD, VCR etc. After connecting, switch the DVD/A V IN to A V IN. NOTE: Noise may occur in speakers when ther e is an external audi o signal input while playing a DVD disc.
20 Using the AC Adapter The player is supplied with an AC adapter for po wering the unit and charging the batter y . Note: T urn player's power off before unpluggin g. Note: In the case of using the adapter, the LCD screen will be lighter than with the rechargeable battery.
21 About Rechargeable Ba ttery Pack Your portable DVD player comes with a lithium ion rechargeable b attery that attaches to the rear of the DVD player. Char ge the battery fully before initial use. Charging time is normally about 5 hours. A fully charged battery delivers about 3 hours of use, but pla ying time varies from disc to disc.
22 Attaching the Battery Pack Refer to the following steps for attaching the Battery Pack: 1. Make sure the player is off and the AC or car adapter is disconnected. 2. Place the DVD player on a soft and smooth surface with the bo ttom of the unit facing up.
23 Detaching the Battery Pack If the DVD Player is not going to be used for long periods of time, the battery pack should first be fully charged and then detached. When t he DVD Player is turned OFF, the DVD Player is still consuming some power in STANDBY mode.

29 Press ANGLE button to pl ay the disc in multi-angle mode. Multi-a ngle means t hat a scene is shot from different ang les so that th e audience can wat ch from any angle, lik e the drawings below : If there are mul tiple angles in a scene, y ou can use the ANGLE bu tton to select the angle you li ke to view .
30 CD Playback When a CD disc is loaded, the player will play it automatically b y the default sequence of the disc. Y ou can use , or number buttons to select a certain track to play . 32 Picture CD Playback Pre-operation Note: Many discs have other items besides pictures. Playback Operation 1. Load a Pictur e CD in the disc tray . The play er will search for the disc automatically . 2.The screen display s the root folder with sev eral subdirectories/ subfolders.

35 Language Setup Y ou can change the default settings of this unit to customize its p erformance to your own preference. Note: Set up the system w hile play is stopped or th ere is no disk in the play er. T o set up your system: 1.Press the SE TUP button.

37 Preferences 2 . ANGLE MARK If the scene w as shot from multiple angles, y ou can change the camera angle of the scene you are watching. Not all DVD discs hav e this feature. Press or button to highligh t this item. Press button to e nter the setup of thi s item.
38 3. RESUME This item is used to set last memory state. This allows you to continue play from where a disc was stopped, even if the power is turned of f or the disc tray cov er is accidentally opened. For this function to work, the disc m ust remain in the player .

40 If you suspe ct there is s omething wrong with the DVD player , immediately turn the power of f. Disconne ct the power c onnecto r and check t hat there i s no smoke or exce ssive h eat coming from the unit. Never open or t ry to repair the u n it yourself.
41 Other possibilities: S tatic or other external i nterference may cause th e player function a bnormally . In order to recover no rmal status, unp lug the power supply cord and then plug it into the ou tlet again to reset the play er. If the problems still ex ist consult your service center or qua lified technician.
