EN-15 Charging the Battery The AC power adap ter charge s the battery an d also powers t he camera. Make s ure that the ca mera is turn ed off and the battery is ins erted befor e starti ng. 1. Insert one end of the AC power adapte r into the DC IN 9V terminal of t he camera.
EN-16 Initial Settings Setting the Date and Time The date/time needs to be set when: The camera is tu rned on for t he first time. The camera is turned on af ter leaving the camer a without the battery for an extended pe riod of time.

EN-22 VIDEO MODE Recording Video Clips This mode allows you to record video clip s at a resolution of 320 x 240 / 640 x 480 pixels. 1. Press the button. 2. Select [Video] with the e / f buttons, and pre ss the OK button. 3. Compose the image. 4. Press the shutter button.
EN-23 PLAYBACK MODE Playback of Still Images Y ou can play b ack your st ill images on th e LCD display . 1. T ogg le the button to [ 7 ]. The last image appears on t he screen. 2. The images can be di splayed in forward or reverse sequ ence using the e / f buttons.
EN-24 Attaching Voice Memos Y ou may record a voice memo for a still image (u p to 30 seconds in length). Only one voice memo per image. 1. T oggle the button to [ 7 ]. The last imag e appears on the screen. 2. Select the image to wh ich you want to attach the voice memo with the e / f buttons.
EN-25 Protecting Images T o prevent image s from acciden tally being eras ed, follow the s teps below: 1. T ogg le the button to [ 7 ]. 2. Select the image that you wan t to protec t with the e / f buttons. 3. Press the button. 4. Sel ect [Protect] with the c / d buttons , and press t he OK button.
EN-26 Erasing Images 1. T oggl e the button to [ 7 ]. 2. Select the image you want to erase with the e / f buttons. 3. Press the button. 4. S elect [Singl e] or [All] wi th the c / d butto ns, and press the OK button. [Single]: Er ases the sele cted image or th e last image.
EN-27 INSTANT DIGITAL PRINTER FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES 1. Press the PRINT button. 2. Sel ect [Print] with the c / d buttons, a nd press the OK but ton. 3. Select the imag e that you want to pr int with the e / f buttons, and press the OK button. By defaul t the print q uantity is 1.
EN-28 Editing your Images The camera has features th at allow you to pe rform severa l photo editi ng functions on your images before printin g. Y ou can remove red-eye ef fects, crop image s to specific sizes and mor e. Cropping Images a. After selecting you image in t he review mode, press th e PRINT button.

EN-31 Sharpness This sets the sharpness of the image that will be captured. * Hard / Normal / Sof t Saturation This sets the sat ura tion of the image that will be captured.
EN-32 Capture Mode This sets the rec ording method at the time of capt uring images . LCD Bright. Adjust the brightness le vel of the L CD display to yo ur desired setting. The LCD becomes b righter with the c button and darker with the d button. The adjust ment ! range is fr om -5 to 5.
EN-33 Video Menu This menu is fo r the basic set tings to be us ed when recordi ng video clips. 1. Pres s the button. 2. Sele ct [Video] with th e e / f button s, and press the OK button. 3. Press the button, and select the [Captu re] / [Function] menu with the e / f buttons.
