The Polycom CX300 phone provides a flexib le and efficient means to access the advanced communication functions of Microsoft® Lync™ 2010.

Connecting to Microsoft L ync 2010 After you have plugged the USB (connected to your phone) into your computer, the CX300 splash screen appears.

Calls may be placed or answ ered using the phone or the Microsoft ® Lync™ client window. Once installed and configured, the Po lycom CX300 desktop phone and Microsoft Lync 2010 work in a t ightl y integrated manner.

User Guide for the Polycom CX300 Desktop Phone 2 - 6 Redirect Calls When you receive an incoming call on the Polycom CX300 phone, you can redirect the call by clicking the Re direct soft key in the Microsoft Lync 2010 client window. You can choose to: • Redirect the call to an instant message.
Using the Basic Features of Y our Phone 2 - 7 T o put a call on hold: >> Press the Hold key. Press the Hold key again to resume the call. For warding Calls You can configure your Microsoft Lync 2010 to forward all incoming calls to another contact (known as static forwarding).

The voice mail access feature is config ured by your system admini strator, who assigns the initial PIN number.
