9 THROTTLE LOCK- - OUT The THROTTLE LOC K - - OUT must be pres s ed before y ou c an s queez e the throt tle trigger. This feature pre vents y ou f rom acc i- dentally squeez ing the tr igger.

After a felling c ut is made on the opposite s ide of tr ee, the tree will tend to fall into the notc h.

16 6. R eins tall spa rk arres ti ng s c reen, exhaus t outlet cov er, and nut. Tighten nut s ec urely. REPLACE SP ARK PLUG The spar k plug should be replaced each year to ens ure t he engine starts easier and runs better. Ignition timing is fi xed and non- adjustable.
17 HE LPFUL TIP During s tor age of your gas / oil mixtur e, t he oil will s epa - rate from t he gas. We recommend that y ou shak e the gas can w eekly to insur e proper blending of the gas and oil. ENGINE S Remov e spar k plug and pour 1 teas poon of 4 0: 1, 2-cycl e engine oil (air c ooled) through the s park plug opening.
