8 ON/OFF SWITCH The ON /O FF s wit ch is loc ated on t he trigger handle and is us ed to s top the engine. Mov e the switc h to the OFF position to stop the engine. PRIMER BULB The PRIMER B ULB r emoves air from the car- buretor and f uel lines and f ills them with fuel.

TRIMMING - - H old the bottom of the trimme r head about 3 inc hes ( 8 cm) a bove t he ground and at an angle .
12 1. Clean the c over and the area ar ound it to keep dir t from falling into the c arburet or chamber w hen the cov er is remov ed. 2. Remov e parts by pressing butt on t o re- lease air f ilter cov er.
13 Spool Cover 1 1. Mak e s ure the lines are not caught be- tween the rim of t he s pool and the wall of the cov er. 12. Reins tall t he spool and c over onto the trimmer head. P ush until c ov er snaps into place. REPLACING THE CUTTING HEAD 1. Align hole in t he dust c up w ith the hole in the side of the gearbox by rotating the dust c up.
14 STORAGE WAR N I N G : Perfor m the following steps after eac h use: S Allow engine to c ool befor e stor ing or tr ans- porting.
