9 CUTT ING METHODS OPERA TING TIPS S Check chain tension before fir st use and aft er 1 minute of oper ation. See CHECK CHAIN TENSION in th e MAINT E- NANCE section. S Cut wood only . Do not cut metal , pl as- ti cs, masonry , non-wood building mate- ri al s, etc.
