P ull the choke/fas t idle lev er out to the full extent, then push the l ever back in com- pletely (to the OFF posi tion).
11 S Keep t he engine at full speed the ent ire time you are cutti ng. S Allow the chain to cut for you. Ex ert only light downward pressu re. If y ou force the cut, damage t o the bar , chain, or en- gine c an result. S Release the throt tle t rigger as soon as the cut is complet ed, allowing the en- gine to idle.

15 BAR MAINTENANCE If your saw cuts to one side, has to be forced through the cut, or been run with an improper amount of bar lubrication it m ay be necessary to service your bar .
