9 FUELING & LUBRIC ATION W ARNING: Remove fuel cap slowly when r efueling. FU EL ING E NG INE This engine is certified t o operate on unleaded gasoline. Bef ore operation, gasoline must be mixed with a good quality 2-cycle air-cooled engine oil. We recomm end Poulan or P oulan Pro R brand oil.
10 NOTE : If the t hrottle trigger is squeez ed during s tarting, i t will be necess ary to reset the fast idle loc k. S Pull the st arter rope quickly wit h your right hand a max imum of 10 ti mes.
11 S Release the throttle t rigger as soon as the cut is completed, allowing the engine t o idle. I f you run the saw at ful l t hrottle with- out a cutti ng load, unnecessary wear can occur to the chain, bar and engine. S T o avoid losing c ontrol when c ut is c om- plete, do not put pres sure on saw at end of cut.
12 CUTTING A F ALLEN TREE (BUCKING) Bucking is the ter m use d for cutting a fallen tree to the desired log lengt h. W ARNING: Do not st and on the l og being c ut. Any port ion can rol l causing loss of footing and c ontrol. Do not st and downhil l of the log being cut.

INSPECT MUFFLER AND SP ARK ARRESTING SCREEN As the unit is used, carbon depos its build up on the muffler and s park arres ting s creen and must be re moved to avo id creating a fire hazard or affect ing engine performanc e.
