6 TR IMM ER L INE A DV A N CE The trimmer line will adv ance approx imately 2 inches (5 c m) eac h time the bottom of the trimmer head is t apped on the ground w ith the engine running at full throttle. The mos t effic ient li ne l ength is the max imum length allow ed by the li ne limiter.
7 MAINT ENANCE WAR NI N G: D is connec t the spark plug before perfor ming maintenance exc ept for car buretor adjus tments. HE LPFU L TIP IMP OR T AN T : Have all repairs other than the rec - ommended maintenance desc ribed in the instr uction manual performed by an authoriz ed ser vic e dealer.
8 6. Bend the line at t he midpoint and ins ert the bend into the s lot in the c enter r im of the s pool. Ensure line snaps into position in the slot. Slot Spool 7. With your finger betw een the lines, wrap the lines evenly and firmly around the spool in a c lock w ise dir ec tion.
