4 EDGER SAFETY WAR NI N G: Ins pec t the ar ea to be edged before eac h us e. Remove objec ts (roc k s , brok en glas s, nails , w ire, etc .) whic h can be thr own by the blade or can w rap around the s haft. S Blade rotates momentarily after the trigger is r eleased.
5 WAR NI N G: O nly us e br ushc utter at- tac hments that pr ovide a metal s hield w ith probos cis nos e. Probos c is nose S Us e only s pec ified blade and mak e sur e it is properly ins talled and s ec urely fas tened. S Cut fr om your left to y our right .
6 WAR NI N G: T o pr event s er ious inju- ry, do not use more than one boom ex tens ion with a pole pr uner attac hment. WAR NI N G: Keep the pr uner away from pow er lines or elec tric al w ires . S Only us e for pruning limbs or branches up to 4 inc hes in diameter.

TR IMM ER LIN E AD V A NC E The trimmer line will adv ance approx imately 2 inches (5 c m) eac h time the bottom of the trimmer head is t apped on the ground w ith the engine running at full throttle.
