7 SCALPING - - The s c alping tec hnique re- moves unwant ed vegetation down to the ground. H old the bottom of the tr immer head about 3 inc hes (8 cm) abov e the ground and at an angle. Allow the tip of t he line to s trik e the ground around tr ees, pos ts, monuments , etc.
