20. Never leave the treadmill unattended while it 24. is running. Always remove the key, unplug the power cord, and switch the reset/off cir- cuit breaker to the off position when the 25. treadmill is not in use. (See the drawing on page 5 for the location of the circuit breaker.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN Thank you for selecting the revolutionary PROFORM ® CROSSWALK SPORT treadmill. The CROSSWALK SPORT treadmill offers an impressive array of features designed to make your workouts at home more enjoy- able and effective.
ASSEMBLY Assembly requires two persons. Set the treadmill in a cleared area and remove all packing materials, Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed. Note: The underside of the treadmill walking belt is coated with high-performance lubricant.
2. 2 Remove theM10 Nut (33), the M10 x 50mm Bolt (27), and theshipping bracket (C) from the Base (85). Attach a Wheel (86) with the Bolt and the Nut that you just removed. Do not overtighten the Nut;the Wheel mustturn freely. Discard the shipping bracket.
5. 5 With the help of a second person, carefully tip the treadmill ontoitsright side. Partially fold the Frame (48) so thetreadmill is more stable; do not fully fold the Frame yet. Remove and discard the two indicated bolts (A) and the shipping bracket (B).
. Have a second person hold the console assem- bly near the Right Upright (78). Cut the plastic ties from the brackets on the Right Handrail (90) and Left Handrail (not shown). Press the Cage Nuts (38) back into place if necessary. Connect the Upright Wire (77) to the console wire.
10. Press the Latch Insert (70) into the Left Upright (73). It may be necessary to tap on the Latch Insert with a rubber mallet. Locate the Latch Pin Assembly (72). Remove the knob from the pin. Make sure that the collar and the spring are on the pin.
OPERATION AND ADJUSTMENT THE PRE-LUBRICATED WALKING BELT Your treadmill features a walking belt coated with high- performance lubricant. IMPORTANT: Never apply sil- icone spray or other substances to the walking belt or the walking platform. Such substances will deteriorate the walking belt and cause excessive wear.

HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER HOW TO USE THE MANUAL MODE iMPORTANT: if the treadmill has been exposed to cold temperatures, allow it to warm to room tem- perature before turning on the power, if you do not do this, you may damage the console displays or other electrical components.

The lower left display-- As you exercise, the lower left display can show the elapsed time and the distance that you have walked or run. The lower left display will also show the incline of the treadmill each time the incline level changes.
HOW TO USE A PRESET WORKOUT 1. Insert the key into the console. See HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER on page 13. 2. Select a preset workout. To select a preset work- out, press the Select Workout button repeat- edly until the number of the desired workout ap- pears in the upper dis- H play.
THE iNFORMATiON MODE HOW TO USE THE CROSSWALK ARMS The console features an information mode that keeps track of the total distance that the walking belt has moved and the total number of hours that the treadmill has been used.
HOW TO FOLD AND MOVE THE TREADMILL HOW TO FOLD THE TREADMILL FOR STORAGE Before folding the treadmill, adjust the incline to the lowest position, if you do not do this, you may damage the treadmill when you fold it. Remove the key and unplug the power cord.
TROUBLESHOOTING Most treadmill problems can be solved by following the steps below. Find the symptom that applies, and follow the steps listed. If further assistance is needed, please see the back cover of this manual. PROBLEM: The power does not turn on SOLUTION: a.
Locate the Reed Switch (54) and the Magnet (42) on the left side of the Pulley (44). Turn the Pulley until the Magnet is aligned with the Reed Switch. Make sure that the gap between the Magnet and the Reed Switch is about 1/8 in.
PROBLEM: The walking belt is off-center or slips when walked on SOLUTION: a. If the walking belt is off-center, first remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD.
