6 4. Set DYNAMO/ BA TT to BA TT . 5. When the radio does not operate p roperly or th e sound we akens , replace the AA ba tteries. Warn in g: Dispose of b atteries promptl y and properly; do not b ury or burn them. Caution : If you do not plan to us e the radio for a week o r more, rem ove the AA batteries .

10 OPERA TION PLAYING THE RADIO 1. Rotate DYNAMO/BA TT to BA TT if you have install ed AA batte ries. T o power the ra dio u sing the Ni-Cd pack or the ge nerator , rotate DYNAMO/ BA TT to DYNAMO . 2. Set FM/AM/OF F to the desir ed band . 3. Rotate TUNING to s elect the de sired s tation .
