5 Recharging Nick el-Cadmium Batter ies If y ou use r echargea ble ni ckel-cadm ium ba tteries , you can rec harge the m in the rad io using an opt ion- al AC ada pter ( such as Cat. No. 2 73-1663) . Be su re the s witch insi de the batt ery co mpart ment i s set to Ni-Cd .
