1 1. B ef ore Y ou Star t ... Thank you f or buying a Falc on cooker . I t should giv e you many years of tr ouble -free cooking if installed and operated correctly . I t is important that you read this section befor e you start, par ticularly if you have not used an induction cooker before .
2 Make sure t o use adequately sized pans with fla t bottoms that are lar ge enough to cover the surface of the hotplate heating ar ea. Never leav e the hotplate unattended at high heat settings. P ans boiling over can cause smoking, and gr easy spills may catch on fire .

This also helps prevent scr atches and deposits. Always use pans that ar e the same size as (or slightly larger than) the areas marked on the hob .

6 F or best results, you should leav e the grill pan in the grill chamber and preheat the appropriat e par t(s) of the grill for two minutes. The grill trivet can be r emoved and the food placed on it while you ar e waiting for the grill to pr eheat. Once the grill has preheat ed, slide the grill pan out again.
7 The Clock Setting the time of day The L CD clock is shown in (Fig 2-14) . When the clock is first connected the display flashes ( 0.00 ) and ( ) alternately . Pr ess and hold both the [ ] and [ ] buttons as shown in Fig .2-15 . W hile holding these buttons press either the (–) or (+) until the correct time shows .

13 5. Cleaning Y our C o ok er Isolate the electricity supply before carrying out any major cleaning. Allow the c ooker to cool. Never use pain t solvents , washing soda, caustic cleaners, biological powders , bleach, chlorine based bleach cleaners, coarse abr asives or salt.

15 ‘ Cook & Clean ’ Panels The main oven has side ‘Cook & Clean ’ panels which have been coated with a special enamel that partly cleans itself . This does not stop all marks on the lining, but helps t o reduce the amount of manual cleaning needed.

Do not try to repair the hob as this may r esult in injur y and damage to the hob . Please arrange for repair by a suitably competent person.
17 F ood is cooking too slowly , too quickly , or burning Cooking times may differ fr om your previous oven. Check that y ou are using the recommended temperatures and shelf positions – see the o ven cooking guide. Then adjust the settings according t o your own individual tastes .

20 L OWER THE FRONT ROLLER by doing 14 complete (360°) turns clockwise (Fig.7-6) . (This means turning and removing the levelling tool 56 times). Now L OWER THE TWO REAR ROLLERS. First fit the levelling tool on the hexagonal adjusting nut (F ig.7-7) .
