Chapter 1 13 Connections & Setup Jacks on the Back of the TV This section describes each of the jacks on the back of the TV . When connecting A/V cables, be sure to connect corresponding outputs to inputs (video to video, right audio to right audio, etc.
14 Chapter 1 Connections & Setup VCR 03 CHANNEL CABLE BOX Ti p If you don’t have both a cable box and a VCR connected to your TV , just coil the cable of the extra G-LINK wand with a twist tie and leave it behind the TV .
Chapter 1 15 Connections & Setup Use the arrow buttons and the OK button to move through the menu system. OK Plug in the TV Plug the end of the power cord into the wall outlet. Match the wide blade of the plug with the wide slot in the outlet. Insert the plug completely into the outlet.

18 Chapter 1 Connections & Setup 3. Highlight the channel to which you have to tune your TV in order to see cable programming, and press OK (a screen appears r eminding you to connect your G-LINK cable to your TV and cable box). Notes: Channel 03 is the most common.

Using the TV ’ s Features 28 Chapter 3 About the GUIDE Plus+ System The GUIDE Plus+ system is an interactive on-screen program guide that lists TV schedules for your area and allows your TV direct control of a cable box and/or VCR.
