2 Intr oduction Thank you very much for purchasing your LED TV. It serves as a normal colour TV and a PC monitor . T o enjoy your set fully from the very beginning, read this manual carefully and keep it handy for future reference. 5 Caution Caution Never stand on, lean on or suddenl y push the product or its stand. Y ou should pay special attention to c h i l d r e n . Caution Do not place the main unit on an unstable cart stand, shelf or table. Serious injury to an individual and damage to the television may result if it should fall.
6 Television Antenna Connection Protection Important Information External T e levision Antenna Grounding If an outside antenna or cable system is to be c onnected to the TV , make sure that the antenna or cable system is electrically grounded to prov ide some protection against voltage sur ges and static charges.
7 Attacthing or Removing the Stand 1. T o attach the base place the display unit flat on a table. Afterwards attach the stand onto the bottom of the stand.
8 2. T o remove the stand, remove the 4 screws in the area and the stand will come off. Installing Batteries to the Remote Control Please insert two AAA batteries into the remote control. Make sure that you match the (+) and (-) symbols on the batteries with the (+) and (-) symbols inside the battery compartment.
9 Front View Rear View Mounting Pattern Identifying Front and Rear Panel INDICA TOR LIGHT – The li ght is red when power is plugged in but the TV is not turned on. The light turns blue when the TV is turned on. Because of the LED in the panel, the TV might take 10 – 12 seconds to power on.
10 If You Have Digital Ca bl e w i thou t Cable Box or Anten na… Connection Suggestions 1. Make sure the power of HDTV is turned of f. 2. Connect the RF cable from yo ur antenna or digital cable to the TV port on the back of your HDTV . 3. T u rn on the HDTV .
11 Co nnecting DVD Player with Compo nent YPbPr… 1. Make sure the power of HDTV and your DVD player is turned off. 2. Obtain a Component Cable. Connect the green color connector to both your DV D player and YPbPr’ s green connector port on the back of your HDTV .
12 Connectin g Wii™ with Composite… 1. Make sure the power of HDTV and your W ii™ is turned off. 2. Obtain a Y ellow V ideo Cable. Connect the Y ellow V ideo connector to both your W ii™ and A V’ s Y ellow V ideo connector port on the back side of your HDTV .
13 Connectin g Cable or Satellite boxes with HDMI… 1. Make sure the power of HDTV and your set-top box is turned of f. 2. Connect a HDMI cable to the HDMI output of your set-top box and the other en d to the HDMI port on the back of your HDTV . 3. T urn on the HDTV and your set-top box.

33 How do I Clean the TV? IMPOR T ANT 1. The power cable has to be removed fro m the socket before cleaning the TV . 2. Do not use volatile solvent (alcohol, rosin, and toluene) to clean the TV . These types of chemicals m ight dama ge the housing and the LED glass.
34 Troubleshooting Pro blems Solutions NO PICT URE Connect power cord correctly . T u rn on power . Connect video cable correctl y . Select the input signal source with proper cable connection with the source button. ABNORMA L COLORS Match the colors on the cables to the ports off the back of the television.
35 TV CHAN NELS ARE BLOCKED Check your auto lock function’ s settings inside the OS D. Y ou may have locked up som e channels but forgo t about them. UN IVERS AL REMOTE CODE Th is TV follows NEC’ s universal remote code. Plea se check your hand book for NEC’ s codes then apply the m .
36 SW ITCHING A CHANNEL OR SOURCE CHANGES THE VOLUME Different channels and inputs will sometimes have th is ef fect because the channel signal’ s own volume is already loud. There is no way remove this completely . The TV has an AUTO VOLUME LEVEL function that can combat this type of effect.
