1 Section 1 Configuration CAUTION Use an NQPACK048SD socket (manufactured by Tokyo Eletech Corporation ) for the FP- 48B package IC socket on the user system. Figu re 1 show s the config uration of the HS36014EC H64H user sy stem in terface cable for the FP-48B package.

8 2.3.3 I nserting Cable Head CAUTION Check the location of pin 1 before inserting. Align pin 1 on the IC socket for a FP-48B packag e on the user sy stem w ith pin 1 on the u ser system interface cable head, and in sert the user system interface cable head into th e IC socket on the user sy stem, as show n in figure 4.
9 Fasten the us er system interf ace cable head to the IC socket for a FP-48B packag e on the user system with the four screws (M2 x 10 mm ) provided. Each screw should be tightened a little at a tim e, alternating betw een screw s on opposing corners.

14 Section 3 Installing the MCU to the User System CAUTION 1. Check the locat ion of pin 1 before inserting. 2. Use the screwdriver provided fo r tightening screws.

16 Section 4 Verifying Operation 1. When u sing the H8/ 36014 series E6000 em ulator (HS3664EPI61H), tu rn on the em ulator according to th e procedures described in the H8/300H Series E6000 Emu lator User's Manual (HS300HEPI61HE).
