5 Section 4 User Interface Specifications The user system interface board incorporates a level convers ion circuit supporting a low-voltage circuit. Accordingl y, when connecting the user sys tem to the emulator, pay att ention to the signal delays and the number of FANINs and FANOUTs.

7 Section 5 Connection Procedures 5.1 Connectin g User System Interface Board to User S ystem W ARNING Always switch OFF the user syst em and the emulator product before the USER SYSTEM INTERFACE BOARD is connected to or removed from any part . Before connecting, make sure that pin 1 on bot h sides are correctly aligned.

Alig n pin 1 on the IC socket f or an FP-112B pack age on th e user s yst em w it h pin 1 on the us er system interf ace board, and insert the u ser system interf ace board into the IC sock et on the us er system , as shown in figure 6.

17 Section 7 Verifying Operation 1. Turn on the em ul ator according to the procedu res described in th e SH7046 E6000H Em ulator User's Manual (HS 7046EPH60HE).
