12 13 u s i n g t h e H D 1 0 0 0 Musi c. The Music se ction will ap pear in the Main Menu when a selec ted med ia source c ontains digital music les. The onl y option is Listen. Listen will take you to an extensive menu of song titles, as well as album and ar tist information.

14 15 The HD 1 0 00 treats MPEG2 video clips in your media folde rs as images. If you p lay a slideshow tha t contains a suppor ted video clip, the clip will play with the same timing as the rest of your images in the slideshow .

16 17 Sharing photos, video and music from your PC requires : • W ired or wireless Ethernet net work ( Net worked HD vid eo playback requires a wired net work ; wireless net work s require an option.
18 19 Y ou may notice th at once you begin browsing images, you enter Image Viewer mo de (or Music Player mode if you began by brows - ing music). Any browsing will be conned to that media ty pe until you exit to the Main Menu by pressing Menu or E xit.

While look ing at pic tures full - screen, just press the Selec t but ton on the remote. (N ote tha t bringing up the Options window with a slideshow playing will pause the slideshow .
20 21 Tip # 2 : T o play or not to pla y When you press the Slideshow but ton on the Main Menu, inser t an image card, or launch an Ar t Pack, your HD1 0 00 automatically advances through the images on the sele cted me dia source. Some - times, you may want t o linger over a par ticular image.
20 21 Nex t is “Fill.” Fill mode zooms in on the image until it lls the entire screen. If the imag e isn’t the same shape as the screen, then par t of the image will be cropp ed. Last but f ar from least is Smar tDisplay . ™ This mode will ll your screen unless doing so woul d cause too much of the image to be cropped .
22 23 Tip #7: Which wa y is up ? If you take a pic ture holding the camera ri ght side up, y ou get what ’ s c alled a “landscape ” picture — one wi der than it is tall.
