Y ou will find importan t safety in formation and useful operating tips. Using Y our New Dishw asher 1. Scrape lar ge food soil and har d items (toothpicks or b ones) from dishes.
7 Loading T op Rac k The top rack is designed for cups , glasses , and s maller i tems. Many it ems, u p to 9" (2 2 cm), fit in th e top rack. (See recommended loading pat tern s shown.) NOTE : The features on your dishwasher rack may va ry from the drawings shown.

9 How much detergent to use ■ The amount of deter gent t o use depends on the soil level of your dis hes, har dnes s of your water , and the ty pe of detergent. If you use too little, dishes will not be clean. If you use too much in soft water , glassware will et ch.

11 Canceling a Cyc le Anytime during a cyc le, press CANCEL/DRA IN. Y ou r dishwasher starts a 2-min ute drain, if n eeded, and cl ears all ind icators. Let the dis hwasher drain compl etely . NOTE : If your d ishwashe r does n ot need drainin g, the dishwash er stops an d clears all in dicators.
12 Delay start Sele ct this optio n to run you r d ishwash er a t a lat er ti me or d uring off-peak hours. Y ou can ad d items to the lo ad anytime during t he delay count down. After ad ding items, cl ose the door firmly until it latche s. The d elay coun tdown w ill not continu e if th e door is not latc hed.

14 DISHW ASHER CARE Cleaning Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, d amp cloth or s ponge and a mild d eter gent is all that is n eces sary to ke ep t he ou tside of yo ur dishwash er looking nice and cl ean. If yo ur dishwasher h as a stainles s steel exterior , a stain less steel cl eaner is recommended.
