7 Loading T op Rac k The top rack is designed for cups , glasses , and s maller i tems. Many it ems, u p to 9" (2 2 cm), fit in th e top rack. (See recommended loading pat tern s shown.) NOTE : The features on your dishwasher rack may va ry from the drawings shown.

10 Dishw asher Eff icienc y Tips Hot wat er diss olves a nd activ ates th e dishw ashin g detergent. Hot water als o dissolve s grease on dishes and hel ps glasses dr y spot-f ree. For be st dis hwash ing result s, wat er sho uld be 12 0 ° F (49 ° C) as it enters the dishwa sher .
11 Canceling a Cyc le Anytime during a cyc le, press CANCEL/DRA IN. Y our dishwasher starts a 2-min ute drain, if n eeded, and cl ears all ind icators. Let the dis hwasher drain compl etely . NOTE : If your d ishwashe r does n ot need drainin g, the dishwash er stops an d clears all in dicators.
12 Delay start Sele ct th is optio n to run you r d ishwash er a t a lat er ti me or d uring off-peak hours. Y ou can ad d items to the load anytime during the delay count down. Afte r adding items, cl ose the door firmly u ntil it latche s. The d elay coun tdown w ill not conti nue if th e door i s not latc hed.

14 DISHW ASHER CARE Cleaning Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, d amp cloth or s ponge and a mild d eter gent is all that is n eces sary to ke ep t he ou tside of yo ur dishwash er looking nice and cl ean. If your di shwasher has a stainles s steel exterior , a stai nless stee l cleaner is recommended.

Detergent must be f r esh to be effective. Store detergent in a cool, dry area. Heavy soil an d/ or hard water generally require extra deter gent.
