Seat Belt s 26 Upper anchorage he ight adjustmen t To redu ce the likelih ood of in jury in an acci dent, th e hei ght of the front seat belt upper anchorage adjusts automat ically as the seat is mo ved eith er forwards or b ackwards.
Seat Bel ts 27 1 Seat belt lo cking mechanism NOTE: The auto matic locki ng mechan ism shoul d also be used when securing large items of luggag e to a se at. All passen ger seat belts have a special loc king mechanism whic h aids th e ret ention of ch ild seats.
Seat Belt s 28 CARING FOR SEAT BELT S Always re place a seat belt assemb ly w here the webb ing sh ows sign s of fr aying . Regularly inspect the webbing for signs o f fraying, cuts and wear, als o pay p artic ular atten tion to the condit ion o f the fixing point s and adjuste rs.
Seat Bel ts 29 1 SEAT BELT PRE-TENSIONERS The seat belt pre-tens ioner s will only be activat ed once an d then MUST BE REPLACED by a Rover deale r. Failure to replac e the pre-te nsioners will reduc e the effici ency of the ca r’s front restr aint sys tems.
Airbag SRS 30 Airbag SRS AIRBAG SR S The airbag SR S provides ADDITI ONAL prote cti on in a se vere i mpact o nly. It doe s not replace the nee d to we ar a seat bel t. The airbag SRS (supplementar y restraint system) inco rporates front an d sid e airb ags for b oth the drive r and front se at pass enger .

Airbag SRS 34 Side airbags NOTE: The m anuf acture and mate rial s of the seat are crit ica l to the p erformanc e of t he airbag. For this re ason, non -appro ved seat cover s must N EVER be fitted, and it is rec omm ended t hat any repa ir or replac ement to the front se ats be carried out by a Rover deal er ( see ’Ser vice information’) .

Sunroof 46 ‘One-touc h’ operation Firmly push the switch rearwa rds and release (t he switc h will be felt to click into position) , the sunroof will fully open. Pu sh the switch firmly forwards and release to fully close the sunr oof at a singl e touch.
