2 Introducti on Thank you for pur chasing the 26 062 Digital Ca m era with Water Resistant casing . Everything you need to take qu ality digital photos and videos is included with your de vice. Please read thi s manual care fully FIRST in orde r to get the m ost out of you r digital camera.
3 Computer System Requirements for Windows XP To be able to dow nload photos and videos to your PC , you will need the follow ing minimum configuration: Pentium 4 process or or abov e with Windows.
4 Computer System Requirements for Macintosh Macintosh w it h Intel proces sor running M ac OS X v1 0.4.6 or later 256 MB RAM, 150 MB free di sk space Display: 1024 x 768 or high er-resolu.
5 Inserting Batteries Your camera req uires tw o AAA batteries. Insert the bat t eries into the camera: 1. Remove the ca m era from the W ater resistant cover by relea s ing the clip on the side. 2. Open the cover of the battery compar tment on the bottom of the camer a.
6 Note: If you do not intend to use y our camera for an extend ed period, re m ove the batteries to avo id battery leakag e and corro sion. Warning : Please do wnload any photos y ou have on the camera before open i ng the battery compartment Do not remove the batteries before downloa di ng the photos and videos from the camera.
7 Taking Photos 1. Compose your shot using the view finder . 2. Hold the camera steady and pr ess the Shutter button to take the photo. 3. The camera w il l beep whe n a photo i s taken. 4. The photo is save as a JPEG file in the ca mera`s me mory 5. The LCD screen w ill display th e number of photos that can be still ta ken.
8 The Camera Modes Power O ff - 1. Press the MODE bu t ton for the icon to appea r on the LCD screen. 2. Press the Shutter bu t ton and the camera will sw it ch off. Self-Timer - 1. Press the MODE bu t ton for the icon to appear on the LC D scree n. 2.
9 4. Lift your finger of f the Shutter button to stop shooting the v ideo. 5. The video w ill be saved as an AVI f ile. Note: Photos taken in Continuou s shot mode may fail under poo r lighting conditions. 3 Shot Mode - 1. Press the MODE bu tt on for the icon to appear on t he LCD s creen .
10 Delete (Last Ph oto) - To delete the las t photo taken : 1. Press the MODE bu t ton for the icon to appear on the LCD screen. 2. Press the Shutter bu t ton within 5 seconds and t he last photo will be de leted. 3. The LCD counter will display the updated nu m ber of photo s that can be taken at the current resolu t ion and co mpression.

12 Frequency - / The camera has 2 Frequency settings, 50HZ for Asia and Europe, and 60HZ for the U.S. and Japan. To set the ca m era for the correct frequency : 1. Press the MODE bu tt on for the for 50HZ or the icon for 60HZ icons to appear on the LCD screen 2.
13 Install the SpongeBob SquarePants Snapshots S oftware and camera driver Warning: Do not plug your camera into the computer until the SpongeBob SquarePants Snapshots software installation is complete. 1. Insert the installat ion CD into y our CD-ROM drive.
14 Connect your camera to the computer 1. Use the USB cable that ca me with your camera to conne ct your ca mera to your computer. 2. Plug the one end o f the USB cable into the US B slot on the side of the camera and plug the other end into an available U SB port on your compu ter.
15 2. The “Get media fro m device” w indow opens. 3. Both photos and videos (if you have capture d any) will get down loaded. 4. Select your ca m era model from th e device window. If your camera is the only device connected then it will be selec ted auto matically.
16 A media dow nload prog ress window ap pears in the middle of the screen show ing t he number of media f iles down loading to your computer. A message ap pears when the down load is complete. 9. The photo and video f iles that y ou selected are now downloaded to your computer to the selected folder an d albums re ady for y our use.
17 Using Your Camera as a Webcam Your camera can also be used as a W ebcam with most instant messaging and web conferencing applications that suppo rt video, w hen plugged into your co mputer.
