1 ABOUT THIS BOOK This book contains instructions for special featur es that ever y telephone user may not need to know . The o wner can decide who the system administrator will be and who will have acc ess to these features. Station users can be trained on only the items that apply to them.
2 SPECIAL FEA TURES SY STEM RING PLANS Y our system is designed to have a maximum of six diff erent Ring Plans. Each ring plan can be programmed to allow diff erent lines to ring different ring plans to ring different station and/or station groups .
CALLING THE SY STEM OPERA T OR Any station that dials 0 will ring its assigned operator . (If tenant service is used, each tenant may ha ve a different operator or operat or group.) Calls to the system or tenant operator are easily identified because the CALL key will hav e a fast flash- ing red light.
4 When the second or third option is selected the barger will take priority over the line. This means unless you (barger) hang up first, the station or line you bar ged into will still be connected to you when the station y ou barged into hangs up.

6 NO TE: Outgoing DISA calls are contr olled by the dialing class of the station identi- fied by the security code. The DISA line must hav e disconnect super vision from the central office . Insist that this ser vice is verified by your installation/service company .
NO T VERIFIED When set for this option the user must enter an account c ode for all outgoing calls, but the account code is not verified against the syst em list. Non verified account codes can contain the digits 0~9, * and #. USING FORCED A C C OUNT C ODES • Lift the handset and press the AC CT C ODE key or dial 47 .

Y ou must use a display keyset. Should it become necessary to change this passcode, see your service com- pany .
11 CHANGING FEA TURE P ASSC ODE Y ou can change individual feature passcodes. This program is used to change the passcodes for sev eral features. These f eatures are the following: RING PLAN SER- VICE, DISA ALARM, ALARM CLEAR, and AA RECORD . Note: Each passcode is four digits long.

16 PROGRAM TRUNK NAMES This program is used to assign a char ac ter name or identification for each C.O . line. Y ou may assign a name of 11 characters long. PROGRAM KEYS UP & DOWN - Used to scroll and move cursor . KEYP AD - Used to enter characters.

18 PROGRAM SY STEM SPEED DIAL NUMBERS The system list starts with 200 numbers and can be increased in blocks of ten. The system may ha ve either 500 or 950 maximum depending on the setting in MMC 861. See your ser vice company to incr ease or decrease the system list.

30 ST A TION TIMERS Each station can have fiv e timers customized for them to accommodate station users with individual work habits. These timers are as f ollows: NO ANS FWD No Answer F or ward This is the amount of time a call will ring at a station before it f or wards to the F or ward No Answer destination.

34 CUST OMER SET REL OC A TION This program is used to swap inf ormation associated with two stations. All assign- ments such as trunk ring, station group, station COS, station speed dial etc. will fol- low this program. 18 button keysets and 28 button keysets can be exchanged .
