5-3 High Voltage Capacitor 1. Check continuity of the capacito r with t he meter set at the hi ghest resi stanc e scale. 2. Once the capacitor is charged, a normal capacito r s hows continu ity for a sh ort time, and then indicates 9M.
5-7 Output Power of Magnetron The output power of t he magnetron can be m easured by perform ing a wat er temperatur e rise test. Equip ment needed : * Two 1- liter cylindr ical borosilic ate glass vessel (Outs ide diamet er 190 mm) * One glass t herm ometer with mercu ry column NOTE: Check line voltage under load.
5-9 P rocedure f or Measurement of Microwave Energy Leakage 1) Pour 275± 15cc of 20± 5° C(68± 9° F) water in a beaker which is graduated to 60 0cc, and place the beaker in the center of th e oven. 2) Start to operate the o ven and measure the leakage by using a microwave energy survey m eter.
