3 English Getting started This section explains wha t to remember for the p roper use of your Bluetooth headset. Your headset overview Make sur e you have the foll owing items with you r headse t : T ravel adapter , User’s guide, Earphone The items su pplied with your headset may vary dependin g on your r egion.
4 Talk button • Press to make o r answer a call. • Press to end a call. Play/Pause /Stop bu tton • Press to launch the music player . • Press to begin or pause playback. • Press and hold to stop pla yback. Volume control buttons • Press to adjust the volume .
5 English Pow er sw itch • Slide the switch to turn the headset o n or off . This headset has a rechargeable internal bat tery which is non- remov able. Ensure that you fully charge the battery before using the headset for the first tim e. 1 Put the travel adapter into the adapter j ack and into a power outlet.
6 When the battery charge gets low A warning sound beeps and the indicator light flashes red. If you are on a call, trans fer the call from the headset to the phone be fore the headset a utoma tically tu rns off . Plug the supplied earphone into the headset and put the earphone in yo ur ear .
7 English Using your headset This section explains how to turn the headset on, pair with the phone, and use various functions. • Slide the power switch to turn th e head set on. T he indicator light sequentially flashes blue, red, purple 2 times. • Slide the power switch to turn th e headset off .
8 1 Enter Pairing mode. • Slide the power switch with pressing and holding [] to turn the headset on . The indi cator l ight turn s on blue and stays lit after flashing blue, red, and purple twice. • If you turn the headset on for the first time, it proceeds into Pairing mode immediately .
9 English Dialing a number by voice Press and hold [ ] to dial a number by voice, and say a name. Answering a call Press [ ] to answer a call when y ou hear incoming call tones. Ending a call Press [ ] to end a call. Rejecting a call Press and hold [ ] to reject a call when a ca ll comes in.
10 Muting the microphone Press and hold [ + ] or [ - ] to turn the microphone off so that the person with whom you are speaking cannot hear you. Press and hold [ + ] or [ - ] again to turn the microphone back on. Transferring a call f rom the phon e to the headse t Press [ ] to tra nsfer a call from the phone to the headset.
11 English Listening to music 1 Press [] . 2 If your phone ask s whether to listen to mus ic via the headset, se lect Yes or OK . The music player launc hes and sound output switches to the headse t. Pausing and resuming pla yback 1 Press [ ] to pause playback.
12 Listening to the previous or next file Press [ ] to skip backw ard or [ ] to skip forwa rd. Rewinding or fast forwarding Press and hold [ ] to scan back ward or [ ] to scan forw ard in a file. Adjusting the vol ume Press [ + ] or [ - ] to adjust the vo lume.
13 English Y ou can connect your headset to the phone and another Bluetooth device that plays m usic files at the same ti me. 1 Pair the headset with a phone. See page 7. 2 If successful, turn the headse t off . 3 Slide the power switch with pressing and holding [ ] to turn the headset on .
