8 • Do Not Touch Surface Unit s, Heating Elements, Interior Surfaces of Hot plate or Areas Near Units - Surface units and heating element s may be hot even though they are dark in color. Area near surface and inte rior surfaces of an Hotplate become hot e nough to cause burns.

11 OPERATING YOUR INDUCTIO N HOTPLATE OPERATING PR OC EDURE ¾ INSERT THE POWER CORD INTO A SOC KET ¾ USING THE INDUCTION HOTPLATE The surface control is easily operated.
12 • Hotplate overheating protect ion: The hotplate is designed with a built-in fan that adjusts the temperature inside the hot plate. If the air inlet or outl et s hould be blocked a nd or cl ogge d, t he hotplate will automatically shut off after 10 aud io alarms advising the consumer of the error.
13 ¾ CLEANING YOUR HOTPLATE • Disconnect the A/C from the main powe r box or designate d circuit breaker, turn off t he hotplate, make sure the surface unit is off and cool before proceedi ng. • Wring excess water out of the sponge or clot h when cleaning area of the c ontrols, or any electrical parts.

20 Si la olla o sartén es removida durante el proceso de cocción, la pantalla most rará un mensaje de error “E1 ” y sonará una alarma de sonido. Si en 60 segundos (1 minuto) no coloca una olla o sartén en la horn illa, esta se apagará automáticamente y empezará el procedimiento de enfriamiento de 5 minutos.
