6 Important Safety I nstructions WA RNING To reduce t he risk of f ire, electrical shock, or injury when using your appliance, follo w these basic precaut ions: • Read all instructions bef or e using the water dispenser. • Never clean parts with flammable f luids.
7 INITIAL PRODUCT SET - UP Before U s ing Your Water Dispenser • Check to be sure the f ollowing parts are included: Instruction m anual Plastic Ice Scoop • Before connec ting the appliance to the power source, let it s tand upright for appr oxim ately 2 hours.
8 W A TER BOT TLE PLA CEMEN T / REPLA CEMEN T Steps T o Replace Wat er Bottles Remove c ap. Use a clean cloth to wipe off neck of bottle. Carefully lift bottle (approx. 40 lbs.) us ing y our legs and not your back . Do not place hands on opening of bottle while placing in reservoir.
9 Hot Water Oper ation • Press the hot water button ( see figure above). • The RED hot water indicator above the button will start blink ing, this m eans the heating element has started to work . • W hen the RED indicator light reached a s olid glow it means the hot water has r eached the desired tem perature.
10 Cold Water Ope ration • Press the c old water button (see figure above) to turn ON the c ooling cy cle. • W hen the cooling system is O N, the BLUE cold water indicator light above the butt.
11 Ice Maker Operation • Press the ice - m ak er button (s ee figure above) to begin the ic e - mak ing cycle. • W hen the cooling system is on, the BLUE ice indic ator light above the button (see f igure above) will start blinking which indicated the ice - m ak ing cycle is operating .
12 CA RE AND MA INTENANCE • W ash the inside of the r eservoir with a warm water and baking soda s olution. The solution s hould be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quar t of water. (T urn of f the hot water f unction). • The drip tray and water faucets s hould be cleaned with mild detergent and warm water.
