15 Caption Ke y —Press to select analog or digital caption- ing. The Analog Caption modes are: CC1, CC2, QuikCap and OFF . The Digital Caption modes are: Digit al CC1~Digital CC6, QuikCap, and OFF .
16 Menu Navig ation Map IMPORT ANT F A CTS: T his TV has two distinct menu systems, one f or Analog signals and one for Digital signals. Theref ore, menu options will vary according to the signal being received (Analog or Digital). The Menu Navigation Map shown here indicates a vailable Digital options.
17 Channel Searc h Use Channel Searc h to replace the e xisting Digit al and Analog Channel Scan databases, suc h as, if you mo ve to another city . NO TES: To receive Digital Cable c hannels, y ou ha ve to perf orm a Digital Cable Searc h. To add new Digital c hannels to the existing database, use Digital A dd-on Searc h .
18 Digital Add-on Searc h Use this f eature to add ne w c hannels to the Digital Antenna Channel data- base. Also, use this f eature to add c hannels when broadcast towers are in opposite directions from your location. NO TE : Go to www .antennaweb.org and t ype in your zip code to obtain specific tow er vector inf ormation.
19 Digital Channel Scan Memory Digital Channel Scan Memor y is a database of active c hannels that y ou scan through using the CHANNEL SCAN key s. This list can be cus- tomized b y deleting and / or adding digital c hannels. 1 P ress the TUNER ke y to select the Digital tuner .

21 CL OSED-CAPTIONING Closed-Captioning is hidden text ual information transmit ted along with the picture and sound. T urning Captioning ON causes the TV to open these cap- tions and superimpose them on the screen.
22 V -GUIDE (P ARENT AL CONTROL) OPERA TION NOTE: This feature is designed to comply with the United States of America’s FCC V-Chip regulations. Therefore it may not func- tion with broadcasts that originate in other countries.
23 T emporar ily Unbloc k a Movie or TV Pr ogr am 1 P ress the INFO ke y, then within three (3) seconds press the ENTER key . T his temporarily turns the V -Guide OFF . T he V -Guide will remain in the OFF mode until the TV power is switc hed OFF . When the TV is switc hed back ON, the V -Guide will be ON.
