Basic Operation Basic Operation 18 Connect the projector's AC power cord into an AC outlet. The POWER indicator becomes red. Open the Slide Shutter by sliding the Slide Shutter Lever .(see page 8) Press the POWER ON/ST AND-BY button on the top control or on the remote control.

Setting Video Input 40 This projector has the picture screen resize function, which enables you to customize the image size. Press the MENU button to display the On-Screen Menu. Press the Point 7 8 buttons to move the red framed pointer to the Screen Menu icon.
Setting 41 Video Input Blue back Press the Point 7 8 buttons to switch On/Off. When this function is "On", a blue image is displayed while the input signal is not detected. Keystone Press the MENU button to display the On-Screen Menu. Press the Point 7 8 buttons to move the red framed pointer to the Setting Menu icon.
Setting Setting 42 Display Press the Point 7 8 buttons to switch On/Off. This function decides to display On-Screen Displays. On . . . . . . . . . . . . . Show all the On-Screen Displays. Use this function when you want to p r o j e c t i m a ge s a f t e r t h e l a mp becomes bright enough.
Setting 43 Setting Capture This function enables you to capture the image being projected and use it for a start-up display or interval of presentations. After capturing the projected image, go to the Logo select function and set it to "User".

Setting Setting 46 Power management For reducing power consumption as well as maintaining the lamp life, the Power management function turns off the projection lamp when the projector is not used for a certain period.
Setting 47 Setting Remote control Th i s p r o j e c t o r p r o v id e s t w o d i ff e r e n t r e m o t e c o n tr o l codes: the factory-set initial code (Code 1) and the secondary code (Code 2). This switching function prevents remote control interference when operating several projectors or video equipment at the same time.

Maintenance and Cleaning Setting 50 This function is used to reset the lamp replacement counter . When replacing the projection lamp, reset the lamp replacement counter by using this function.
Maintenance and Cleaning 51 Setting The W ARNING indicator shows the state of the function which protects the projector . Check the state of the W ARNING indicator and the POWER indicator to take proper maintenance. W arning Indicator T h e p r o j e c t o r i s s h u t d o w n a n d t h e WA R N I N G indicator is blinking red.

T urn over the projector and remove the air filters by pulling the latches upward. Air filters prevent dust from accumulating on the optical elements inside the projector.
