Getting Started With Sprint Service Determining If Y our Phone Is Already Activ ated If you purchased y our phone at a Sprint Store, it is probably activated, unlock ed, and ready to use. If you received y our phone in the mail, it probably has been activated; all y ou need to do is unlock it.

Activating Y our Phone If Y ou Have Canceled the Activ ation If you press while ac tiva ting your phone, the activa tion will be canceled and you will be requir ed to activate it from the main menu.

14 Sec tion 2A: Phone Basics K ey Functions 1. Earpiece lets you hear the caller and automa ted prompts. 2. Main Screen displays all the informa tion needed to operate your phone, such as the call status , the Contacts list, the date and time, and the signal and battery str ength.
